Rose and Glenn decided that they would invest in the purchase of a franchise of a West Coast Video store. The time was ripe for just such an endeavor and they did well. It was a lot of hard work and very long hours but they didn’t mind. They were together. And so it was that Jim and I visited with them every Friday and Saturday night. Sometimes on Sundays as well. Whenever we were together it was always entertaining. We loved sharing this time with them. Occasionally they would be off on a Saturday night and we would go to dinner and maybe to a movie, or just back to their house for a cup of tea (Jim had coffee) and just sit at the kitchen table talking. I can’t imagine what we had so much to talk about but conversation was never lacking and we kept going back for more.
