Now here’s a picture of Rose that only a few ever saw. As a little girl, Rose was the big sister to Gerry. They were very close as the only little kids in the family. So of course, Rose took on the role of Mother Hen and was very protective of her little brother. When other kids on the street picked a fight with Gerry, they hadn’t bargained that sweet little Rosie would fly to the rescue. Presenting herself as highly indignant she had no problem hauling off and popping one of the brats. No one was going to hurt Gerry when she was around. Now honestly, can anyone really picture our little girl as a “warrior princess?”
