Speaking of fun nights, I have to mention several others we had along the way. Glenn’s sister Janet and her husband Nick and the four of us decided we were going to take up bowling. If you ever wanted to see hilarious all you had to do was sit back and watch us make fools of ourselves. We were no bowlers. At least us girls weren’t. We belonged in the lanes that had the gutters blocked for the little kids. Nick would be taking it very seriously trying to teach Janet the all right moves which went in one ear and out the next. Who was interested in the right moves when we were laughing so hard at ourselves. Rose and I pretended to be serious but we weren’t fooling anyone. We considered playing by different rules like let’s see how few pins we could knock down but the guys wouldn’t buy into that idea. But we had a lot of fun.
