I didn’t remember this story, but Judy did. She told me there was a time when Rose actually tried to smoke a cigarette like all the other kids were doing. She felt so guilty about her attempt that she went to Mom and Dad and told them. Another time, Rose was going to a friend's sleepover. Apparently, she was supposed to supply the drinks for the evening. The alcoholic kind of drinks. Not wanting to appear prudish to her friends, Rose managed to be holding a bottle of booze in such a way that she managed to be caught by our parents. Told you she was a goody-goody. And pretty slick too.
