Introduction To My Sister Rose

Created by Jackie 14 years ago
Rose began life as a little darling in the eyes of her family. She was all things sweet and good. I often refer to her as the best of all of us. Five children were born to my parents. I am her oldest sister by 10 years so I was very close to her during her early childhood. Rose was truly very special. My little sister Rose loved her family. She was kind in that she was never intentionally hurtful or mean to others. She was a goody-goody child and we teasingly called her the “perfect one” or the “little princess”. She never disobeyed her parents, did well in school, and remained closely attached to our Mom and Dad. She only ever loved one man, her devoted husband Glenn. She accepted others easily. She was warm and friendly and kept any problems or troubles to herself so as not to burden anyone. Rose was a beautiful child and she grew into an equally beautiful woman and mother. She never tired of doing for her husband and sons and managed everything about the household without complaint. She would tell you she loved doing things for her family and she meant every word. In the last few weeks of her life, I repeatedly referred to Rose as “my sweet baby girl” because that was what she was to me. Always. I was always “Sis” to her and now I treasure that term.
